When pearly whites first begin erupting from your child’s jaw, you’re certainly going to enjoy the phase as much as they will: that is to say not very much. This eruption development can be difficult for the child, making their gums achy and tender. Imagine the sensation of a new tooth piercing through some of the soft tissue spots of your mouth, and you’ll know rapidly why this is a difficult process for babies.
To lessen some of the effects of teething for your child, we suggest you try to rub their gums with your (clean) fingers or a wet gauze pad. Soothing the painful gums is critical, so try lower the temperature of your finger or the gauze pad with some cold water before rubbing your child’s gums. If this proves insufficient, we recommend calling us for some advanced support.
